Aloe can handle drought well, but prefers to be watered regularly. Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again.
Aloe loves to be placed in a sunny spot! It will grow best when getting 8-10 hours of sunlight each day!
If the outer leaves of your plant get brown tips you can either cut off the affected area or prune the entire leaf altogether.
Healthy Aloe plants will sprout more plants, or "pups", from its roots. Carefully take these "pups" out and repot in their own pot for additional plants.
Aloe does not require a high soil fertilizer. Feeding once a year in the spring with a houseplant fertilizer should be sufficient.
Aloe can experience root rot if the soil is kept too wet.
