How to plant & care for Catnip

WATER:

Catnip grows best when its soil is kept moist but not wet. Watering about once a week should be sufficient!

EXPOSURE:

Catnip loves to be placed in a spot that is sunny majority of the day, but can tolerate some shade as well!

PRUNING:

Prune and clean up Catnip in early Spring by cutting back one-third of the plant.

PROPAGATION:

The easiest way to propagate Catnip is to take a piece of new growth from the plant, early in the growing season, and plant into a new pot.

FERTILIZER:

Fertilizing your Catnip is not necessary as long as it is planted in nutrietn rich soil. If needed, you can feed your Catnip an all purpose fertilizer once per year.
