How to plant & care for Osteospermum

WATER:

African Daisies are mildly drought-tolerant. Watering them well, once a week, will help them grow best!

EXPOSURE:

African Daisies are able to show off their beautiful bloom best when placed in a spot that gets as much sun as possible throughout the day.

PRUNING:

Prune in early Spring or Fall to encourage new growth.

PROPAGATION:

Take a few cuttings from your existing African Daisy plant and place the bottom part of the stem into soil that is mixed heavily with compost. Wait for roots to grow then transplant to desired spot.

FERTILIZER:

African daisies like a lot of food to grow and bloom their best. You can mix compost into the soil and apply a balanced fertilizer for flowering plants monthly throughout the growing season.
